KENNEWICK -- Kennewick quarterback Drew Loftus had 173 yards and two touchdowns through the air, as the Lions hung on to defeat the Hermiston Bulldogs 27-20 in a nonleague game at Lampson Stadium on Friday.

The Lions offense set the tone on the first drive of the game as they marched over 70 yards on 10 plays to go up 7-0.

Loftus rolled out to the left after a bad snap and put a 20-yard pass on the money to Devven Ramos in the end zone -- the first of many big plays he would make on this night.
